The team at Finishing Touch did a great job of painting all the windows and doors (inside and out), and several areas and touchups on the exterior on our 1920's bungalow. Some windows were in poor condition and they did a few fixes and fill ins along the way. Steve was great to deal with with lots of communication. It was easy to add on some extra bits as the work progressed. Some work took place in the school holidays and they were very flexible by giving us some space when we needed it.

Steve is an excellent communicator, both in terms of job status and progress and in terms of paint science. One of the reasons we chose his over other quotes was that he wrote up the most thorough, complete and clear explanation of the work proposed. He kept in contact to let us know the status of the project at all times and was always available to answer questions. He is knowledgeable and very good at explaining various aspects of paint, application and other procedures involved in the painting process. The project went exactly as he said it would, without delays (except for a little rain!) and with 100% follow-through on everything that was promised. He was also very helpful with decision-making, and made well-informed and helpful suggestions. During the entire process, tools and equipment were put away and the end of the day and my home never had the "under construction" feel to it. His quotation was not the cheapest, but I was very pleased with his input while viewing the job, and suggestions made in regard to ensuring a quality and secure finish in this fairly sunny and exposed location. They did what was required , with additional preparation and paint as considered necessary by them as the job progressed. We were not on the site while the majority of work was carried out, so left these decisions to them. We are delighted with the completed job.
